Temperament tests and notes

3 day notes

3 week plus ENS notes

Predictable and normal little puppy in every way. She will be a real dog's dog.   Reacted completely average to most of the temperament tests, except when placed back into her nest she froze for quite some time.   Sensitive and aware in her surroundings. usually the first one done eating and sleeping.

score: 3-4                       collar color: white            weight 22 oz

She followed her namesakes way. Approached everything slowly and worried herself around every turn. Head shy for petting. Fair amount of whining and trying to negate the situation by hiding her head. She recovered well, wagging and softening toward the end.  Striking out on her own eventually, she "checked-in" often. Lovely symetrical face framed by a well balanced mane of white. Long tail, no dew claws.

Score 3-4                               no dew claws                             weight:

ENS exercises were hard for little Caution. I always tried to catch her while awake for them, but she reacted much like I had started while she was sleeping. Did not improve feet tickle reaction from day 5 to 11.

6 week notes plus Score card

By six weeks old our puppies have moved to an indoor/outdoor enclosure and have had introductions to the big wide world. The notes we give here will include the baseline temperament scores we  use to match this pup with it's furever home.
