Temperament tests and notes

3 day notes

3 week plus ENS notes

Active, demanding and assertive.  First for everything except finding his way back to mom. he will strike out on his own and quickly become lost. Squawk and holler till either mom or myself goes to bring him back to the puppy pile.   BEAUTIFUL colors on this boy, nice head and body size.

score: 5-6               collar color: grey or black      weight 23 oz.

Cowboy was curious what I was up to, and why on earth would it include him? Once in the testing area he meandered a bit not seeming too upset by the change in environment. He did "swimmer" feet for the dangle. Turning over was a no go. Struggled, whined yawned and kicked. Once up right he was all right.  An obvious appreciation for being petted, but too busy to hang out.  Nice body, color is amazing silver/red sable.

Score 5-6                              NO dewclaws  on rear feet.       weight  3.9 lbs

ENS:   exercises were performed after waking.   4 out of 5 - Stable, appropriate coping,

1 out of 5 -  he panicked on the cold towel, went the wrong direction, got lost, squeeled until saved.   Nails trimmed no issues.

6 week notes plus Score card

By six weeks old our puppies have moved to an indoor/outdoor enclosure and have had introductions to the big wide world. The notes we give here will include the baseline temperament scores we  use to match this pup with it's furever home.
