TEMPERAMENT TEST SCORES - 3 days, 3 weeks, 6 weeks

3 Day notes
This little lady is self assured.  Enjoying the handling as long as she got to dictate what happened. She was brave enough that she brought out the litany of dog-behaviors to stop what was happening to her. Yipped, barked, growled, struggled, pushed, flailed - all the stuff. When placed on a  cold towel she just about sprang off it and headed straight over to mom.
She recovered quickly, not seeming traumatized but rather annoyed.
Physically, she is a nice solid pup. Long in body, short in skull. Her tail is already developing the signature Shepherds crook, bending slightly to the left.
Looks like single dewclaws on both back feet.
Pigment is coming in, she will have a nice dark nose and eyeliner.

3 day score:  4
3 week notes
China is a blue collar pup, sharing the color with her first born brother Rider. The two are temperament twins, with the subtle differences that make a girl dog and boy dog "different", are spot on for these two. More self concerned and slightly bolder than her brother, she has a quicker reaction time and keeps to herself most of the time. She enjoys her own space, I can often hear her bleat in protest to being laid . She is fast for a 3 week old, certain she knows what to do and where to go.  For the restraint part of the test she clearly growled when on her back. She was quiet and stiff for the dangle. Once she found the safety and warmth of my lap, it was difficult to get her away from me. Once back in the box she dove under the nearest sibling and went to sleep. She has a blocky body for a female, a balanced well proportioned head, a nice straight back end.
3 week score : 3

6 week temperament test notes Submissive compliant quiet. Friendly but hesitant.  lIKES HER FACE PETTED. Always one of the first up to the fence to say hello. Nice coat, with a tinge of tan to it. May have issues collecting urine on rear feathering.
