Charlie is right-off-the-bat sensitive to vibrations, heat and is active and squeely. He seems to want to always be tucked under things. For the turn over he tucked himself in tight and stayed stock still. Like a roly poly bug. For the dangle he was very stiff and grunty. Placed back in the nest he cried out for help from mom who nudged him in the right direction. Took him a while fall back to sleep.

ENS excercises seemed to have done wonders for this boy. He still is sensitive to vibrations, and when his eyes and ears opened he didn't take to the change very well. He would hide toward the back of the pile and darned if he didn't do that roly-poly bug thing again when stressed. By 21 days he is adjusting to life well. As soon as he found out about solid food he seemed to switch on, no longer hiding but eagerly approaching the weaning dishes. He's going to be a handsom fella, reminds me of his dad St. Stephen

By six weeks old our puppies have moved to their indoor/outdoor enclosures and are spending the night without mom. We take each puppy individually into a testing area that will allow us to score them on the social skills, intelligence and aptitudes. The final score of the set of three tells us where to take their training and socialization as well as life skills needed to thrive in their future homes.
