Scarlet fell asleep in the first few hours of life and stayed asleep while the rest of the pups were born. She is smaller than the rest, but I wouldn't say she's the runt. Just small.  3 day temp tests bothered her.  She squeeled for the dangle, needed moms help to calm down after placed back in the nest.  Beautiful color, she will look alot like her mom MOON

Some old school breeders call it "screamin mimi syndrome". I don't know if there's a modern technical term.  When pups eyes and ears open, the synapses aren't hooked up yet. Light and sound are cause for fear response. She screams randomly.   Three week temp tests went pretty much the same as three day. No participation as she attempted to run and hide for everything.  This pup will need to be socialized carefully and slowly.

Moving to the indoor/outside helped this whole litter blossom into their personalities.  Especially Scarlet has become much more engaging and confident.  She does her best to be noticed in the puppy pile, but she will NOT be pushy or assertive. When she can catch me alone, she will actually position herself to be seen. Loves pets and cuddling.  Scarlet can hold a grudge, a little correction goes a long way and is remembered for a long time.   She's going to be a carbon copy of her mom, with silver wolfy coloring.    Gait is curious, we will keep an eye on her structure as she grows, but rear carriage is off.
